Andrea DiMaio is a yoga teacher, movement facilitator, outdoor guide, speaker, and founder of Ample Movement. Their work centers accessible yoga, body liberation, fat-positive movement spaces, Health At Every Size principles, and the belief that all bodies are worthy of movement, rest, joy, and care. Andrea’s teaching is rooted in the idea that yoga should be accessible physically, financially, and culturally, and that movement practices can be connected to social justice, self-acceptance, and collective liberation.
Andrea completed 200-hour yoga teacher training through the Himalayan Institute of Buffalo and 300-hour training in The Path to Yoga, Justice and Equity. They are also a Yoga For All certified instructor and Accessible Yoga Ambassador. In addition to teaching restorative and accessible yoga with Sukanya Burman Dance, Andrea leads inclusive hikes and outdoor experiences through Ample Movement, creating spaces where people of all sizes, abilities, and experience levels can connect with their bodies, one another, and the natural world.
