
Arjumand "AJ" Ali
Dance Collaborator
Arjumand (AJ) is an alumnus of the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he
received his bachelor's of science degree in Communications: Audio/Radio and Video
Production, with a minor in Theatre Arts. While at Fredonia, AJ studied dance for musical
theatre, modern dance, and dance improvisation. After graduating, AJ trained in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Acro. He became an instructor teaching Hip-Hop and Step, as well as assisting in Jazz, Ballet, Acro, and Tap. AJ works with Neglia’s CityDance team as an Instructor on their staff roster teaching Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Creative Movement, and Intro to Dance. He has joined MahataMmoho Collective as a company dancer, and has choreographed for Clark Academy Dance Center, as well as Peace Of The City’s summer program in Buffalo, NY. He continues to enhance his skills and knowledge about different styles of dance by attending many classes offered around Buffalo, Toronto, Atlanta, and New York City.
